Michael, when I click the link, reply, the window to whom you reply is displayed in the old style.
When I make a preview of my post it also displays in the old style.
Am I ahead of the curve?

Hi WN,

Try F5 or Ctrl+F5 on those pages to get your web browse to reload maybe you're getting cached versions.

If that doesn't do anything can you please post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Thanks, - Michael

Hi Burr,

> Really like the new page/paper/background color....

Thanks! I wanted to give it something there instead of just plain white but not too strongly colored.

Michael probably this is how it should be, it's just that he stands out more in this place.
So I thought it was different.

Hi WN, yes that is the new one. It happens to be enclosed in one of these types of containers like in Options, that's why it looks like that:

It has been modified to have less saturated colors than before. I didn't find it otherwise objectionable enough to mess with any further.

hi michael,

i tried disabling some of the addons but it didn't help. if i close the browser and re-open it. i have to login to the forum again. not a huge deal. just thought i'd mention it, given the topic.

Dear Michael,

I like the new adjustments you are making to the web site. Easier on the eyes.

If I had one nit to pick on the subject, it is this:

We "Log On," then we "Logout."

How about Log In/Log Out ; or Log On/Log Off ?

I know it's a just a crotchet, but chalk it up to my decades in printing and publishing...

Hi Mark - I've updated all "Logon" text to be "Login" instead to match with "Logout". That should be safe I think. Switching from one word to two words with added whitespace could have other side effects so I'm not going to do that right now because of all the testing that would be needed to ensure it didn't break things.

Thanks,
- Michael

Thanks, Michael.

One word or two, at least it's parallel: IN/OUT rather than ON/OUT or IN/OFF.

My inner "Monk" is assuaged.

Michael, here the background of the image is different from the background of the page.

Michael, now the only thing that reminds us of the past is the vertical dividing line and the numbers in square brackets want to move away from it a little bit ;)
The wiki has become more cozy and fun, I like it, thank you!

Hi WN, the dividing line can be used to resize the width of the threads list so that needs to stay, the numbers in the square brackets show the number of messages in the thread which can be helpful to know and the square brackets themselves are shortcuts to the first/last messages so those are good to keep as well.

The wiki update is thanks to Phiro!

One thing that could be pretty cool for the forum would be an option to show replies nested under the post they are replying to. Probably a bit too much work involved to tackle right now though.

I hesitate to weigh in here again, as I always get the impression that drawing Michael's attention to the website steals his focus away from MoI itself!

One thing I'd like to see is the addition of comments to the Gallery entries. It would be nice to compliment the posters and ask the occasional question from time to time.

hi michael,

small thing. the headers of posting, login, logout, etc are the old shade of blue. is there any way to make it one of the shades of blue from the new header. probably the darker one would make sense. i attached a pic from the logout screen, as an example.

i liked an earlier post about the users 'inner Monk'. kinda the same thing here. not a big deal though. but it would probably look nicer.
