Looking nice!
Google helps me to understand too:

Nevertheless - I've milled aluminium, PCBs, plastics and wood! Okay tolerances by +/-0,1mm, not impressive, but works

TPA: "they do retrofit of old machines"
After the emotional appearance of Narcotini (TPA) unfortunately not for me.
Or just at a price you can't say yes to. That's what I think.
I was probably too honest in the wording...
Some people make the biggest mistake of hearing what someone else really thinks about them.
In this sense, say hello to Narcotini if he looks at the forum again.

You can solve the problem:
First you have to watch the godfather 1-3.
Call them and say:
"I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse !" They will understand;-)

Yes, it is important - despite all the ailments - not to lose the humor!

Hello everyone!
I think I've gotten closer to the problem of denied file access. It is due to a hardware key that was connected to the printer port of the old PC. The conversion file "DXFTO0G. EXE" was protected by this. Therefore, the file conversion did not work on the other PCs. I should have known that, actually. But time has also left its mark on me, so it seems. Hope that the memory increases with the days that are getting longer again today....
Thanks for the help to all.
NUM, Switzerland will offer me a new NC for the old machines. Another factor is the post processor for the machine.
I saw at googling that there is a connection to Moi3D, namely:
https://www.filou.de/produkte/moi-3d/
https://www.filou.de/produkte/rhino-cam-plugin-madcam/
https://www.filou.de/madcam-5-versions-vergleich/
Does anyone already have experience with this software, and is it really suitable for real 5-axis milling?
Is there also a way to create the post processor?

So the problem was a Parallel port Dongle?
Re MadCam: I've no experience with it. From the English version: 30 day evaluation, cheapest 3axis version 795 euro, more for advanced versions, up to 4,995 euro, requires Rhino, version (5, 6 likely?), update last October. Have read that there are No maintenance fees.

Yes, I've forgotten over the years that there is something additional behind the old PC, Dongle is the right expression.
For the developer of the software it would probably only have been 1 second to think about it, to draw my attention to it.
But that's the way of security to lose customers.
The opposite is Michael and many of these forum users, I'm glad this is so.
Thanks for the tip, I'll follow every lead from now on.
Have a nice day
