Maybe this can inform you!
From authors
"Yes, Rocket has absolutely the same features as NVil!
NVil is platform for Rocket, so every new updates that NVil will get, will be availible for Rocket too!
So you can migrate without any problems!
You can think about Rocket 3F Pro as NVil on steroids! "
Alas for me the "funcky" UI has disapeared!
For old persons colors are very useful for spotting something in the dark!
Nvil's standard interface is very dated looking and congested which puts a lot of users off the program immediately despite how good the modeller actually is. To create your own interface for Nvil is a ton of work, believe me I know, I've done it for myself before Rocket came out.
I think that Andrei's is very clean and easy to navigate and makes all the most often tools easy to access. The light and dark gray scheme's are big improvement over the colorful fruity version IMO. Hopefully it will gain wider recognition out there so that money rolls in and development can continue on Rocket/Nvil.
There are plenty of disillusioned hexagon and silo users out there who are looking for an affordable alternative and don't like blender or Wings. I think Rocket might suit them better than Nvil.
Having the MoI and 3D Coat bridges is a big plus also. The MoI bridge does not exist in Nvil only Rocket.
As you already know I already have a basic license of R3F.
I've written only to report the issue :)
Anyway...I've read some days ago that maybe is almost soon a new release of R3F that should include one or two great
features that Istonia has added to NVIL.
