Sorry but how do you obtain the node Text ?
In the construct2.js ? I suppose in folder nodes ?

But curriously it don't appear as show in my previous post!
Very mysterious!

Edit : find it!
I have put twice the file construct2.js : in folder nodes & folder extensions !

I have put the file in two folders that makes the mess! :)

Hi Karsten
The text node is fine, I wanted to ask you,
following James's post, if it's in the future
It is possible to provide all Node Points, even those
mPath, of an output that can be read
from our Text node, in such a way as to return
"Reading "the list of item?
It would be a great advance for the "manipulation"
some data......
Excuse me, if I tedium with these my constant
requests ...
But it is for the goodness of "Elephant"
Have a nice day

Hi Karsten,

Following on from my last post, I realise that it maybe confusing to have a text input if it can only accept num array inputs.

As an alternative approach, I have attached image of how node maybe extended to serve as a counter of points in an array.

In the absence of a numbered labelling of points, I have relied on cloning to points spheres of variable sizes to make the sequencing legible. Obviously this method is grossly inadequate. I hope you can see the value of the suggested improvement.

Thanks
James

Hello James, Hello Al,

Yep - I think it is possible, but I don't have the time at the Moment - some private Problems:-(

Have a nice day

Hello to All
Continue my research on Minimal Surf:
Is the turn of the Minimal Periodic Doubly Scherk,
Modeled Low Poly-
Fairly simple but engaging, at least I think

Hi All,

Attached is my latest experiment with nodeeditor showing
parametric depth control of flowed geometry over a surface substrate.

BE WARNED: drawing to screen may be up to half a minute.

Have a great weekend
James

P.S. simple 2nd example added

Ciao AL2000!

Visto quello che riesci a fare con il Project Elephant mi chiedo cosa riusciresti a tirar fuori da Grasshopper per Rhino !!

W la matematica (questa sconosciuta....per me) !

(In English)

Hi AL2000!

Considering what you are able to do with Project Elephant I'm wondering what you can make from Grasshopper for Rhino !!

Maths forever (this stranger....for me) !

Bye.

Ciao Marco
Poly Surf come fossero Mesh, etc etc
Tutto merito del Geniale Max-
Ti ringrazio per le belle parole , e ti esorto comunque a scoprire al più presto anche Grasshopper
Buona Giornata

Hello Marco
In Grasshopper I can get out a lot more,
But the merit is the program ... not mine
There are a number of tools available by default from the program
Scary ...
Moreover, there are a whole number of plugs, made free of charge by third parties
"Amateurs", dedicated to the most varied areas, first of all Kangaroo, Wb Mesh, etc. etc
And many more
It is worthy to give a hint to the potential of the program
Believe me, it's worth it-
However, there is also to be said that Elephant in some respects
And in my opinion innovative in terms of operation
Some Nodes, Math Point, subD for example and the treatment of
Poly surf as if they were meshes, etc. etc
All the credit to the Max's Genius-
I thank you, and exhort you to discover Grasshopper
Have a nice day
