Hello Marco,
as mentioned, average doesn't work:-( and I don't figured out, where the problem is.
Have a nice day

Flow Job:-)
Nice weekend to all!

Hi Karsten and a bug thank you for your nodes.
There is much to learn!
Just a little bug :
The resulting object presents some glitches.
In this screenshot
http://take.ms/58Z82 they are displayed in blue.
Here's the resulting object.

Nice weekend.

Hello Marco,
switch of cap ends in the loft node (important! if not -> surprise;-) and change the const from 0,2,8,16 to eg 0.6,2,8,16! The problem is caused by a scaledown to 0!
Thanks for testing
Karsten

Hi Karsten and thanks.
I followed your instructions and everything works correctly with new const values.
As said by you, Loft with cap ends ON causes a Moi crash.
Only one thing does not convince me.
Why the resulting object is made by two elements ?
One, the cluttered, which is a joined surface, and the other one, a single surface sharp and clean.
You can see in this brief video the two unjoined surfaces

And here's the .3dm file

Hello Marco,
the example isn't the best choice to demonstrate the flow (relation between input and target), but it looks nice:-) Nevertheless it shows me problems with the factory, so I try to filter problematic inputs. Feel free to replace transform2.js with the hopefully improved version.
Have a nice evening

Hello Al,
very cool result! But, be careful - it's addictive ...
Have a nice day

Hello WastZZZ,
>>>>
I have 3 different objects: a, b, c.
How do I linear array them randomly? For instance a,a,b,a,c,c,a,b,b,a etc..
I thought about your intention to randomly array. There are various ways to implement such things, maybe it is possible to do that with the things, already present in V0.85 - I don't know. So my first idea is a node for that. It takes your input objects and create a new and longer array with randomly copies of your originals. These new objects can be placed with e.g. orient to any point array. Please try the attached files and give a feedback, if it is useful - maybe someone else has a better idea.
Have a nice day
Karsten

A second node window can be open on the MoI screen, along with the original.
For example, if customui is installed on Windows 7 :
1. Inside Moi3/ui/customui, make a copy of 99 NodeEdit.htm, and name it 98 NodeEdit2.htm.
2. Edit the 98 NodeEdit2.htm file, and change text 'nodeeditor/index.html', to 'nodeeditorTesting/index.html', and also change NodeEdit to NodeEdit2
3. Copy the contents of subdirectory nodeeditor to nodeeditorTesting. Modifications can be made to the files in the new nodeeditorTesting subdirectory.
The second node window could have different colors and different cursor.

The old motor2.nod file does not load properly in version .85.
The lochinvar blue (medium blue color) wires, hex 339999 color, do not work. Is this a compatibility bug?
However, if the three Math nodes are cloned, and rewired, the modified motor2.nod file works fine.
The new wires are shadow green (medium aquamarine color), hex 99ccaa color.
The three old Math nodes, and the lochinvar blue wires may be deleted.

There seem to be many different names for colors.
This website has some names for many colors:

Gold wires: CCAA00, Buddha Gold.
Pink wires: BB77AA, Bouquet. Orchid seems close.

The epicycloidal reducer .3dm and nod file was previously given.
Similar to the motor nod file, the 4 math nodes had to be cloned and rewired.
Is there any reason not to activate the quartz node?

Is there a recommended software for creating User Guides or Manuals?
(Free versions preferred:-)
(I've googled for about a dozen...)
Which wiki software does MoI site use?
Is MediaWiki good?

A simple Web page creator can be also sufficient! ;)
Two free ones
https://www.weebly.com very easy!
I have used it for this :

http://zibifr.weebly.com/
http://profilbuilder2vf.weebly.com/
http://sketchupsubd.weebly.com/manuels.html
(etc...an half thousand...)
www.wix.com a little more elaborated but very easy also!

Hey bemfarmer,
Use "docbook" as your search point.
Alot of times you can find docbook filters for whatever editor you already use. Like word, openoffice, notepad++.... (havent researched myself)
