Superb tutorial Mike, you might have been missing a year, but you are still the Fillet master including the variable kind :)

Good tutorial, but it is a pitty, that it is not in metric measures.

Thanks all! :-)

I'm surprised I'm not seeing a more robust use of the new Fillets. :-o

Merci Pilou!
Aucune inquiétude... prenez votre temps. Aucune ruée.

Rudi, I had actually considered that along the way, and I might update some of the pics...
I had to back-track a lot, and I felt that there wasn't the likelihood that anyone following the tutorial would get the same exact result with the same numbers.

I may post the metric version of the chart.

Here is my "Hand" rendering of the skillet. (I am so hungry now.)

This took about an hour using Taron's Verve fluid-dynamics painting program.

Once Taron allows for input of images to trace from, Verve and Moi will be quite a pair!

I only regret not declaring metric measurements as well.

It's the Flare with Fin-X (not to be confused with Finex) Technology from a company called Lakeland.

The heat sink built into the bottom of these pans are designed to better transfer rising heat while better ducting the heat along the pan's surface.
Hopefully the inside surface is smooth, because I imagine it would be a nightmare to clean burnt food from inside of those grooves.

It's worth a model.

Mike - You're the master modeler of household appliances.

It's a proven fact that everything works better when you add fins. Everything.

Now, I'm going down to the junkyard, get out my welder, and make a set of new pans for my wife.

I love the smell of coffee and brake fluid in the morning!

Great tutorial, Mike, thanks a lot for sharing.

Now that I know more about MoI's tools and workflow than in my early months, I really have to go through all of the tutorials on your site again. Very educational.
