mathematics made Art!!!

Thanks Pilou!

But...just out of curiosity...For a long time I've wanted to ask you this thing...
We all know that you're are a sort of "universal ambassador" for everything's related to CG in general and you put a great efforts in doing so.
I'm wandering...is your "real" job ?
Is this is the case it's a very exciting job :)

Thanks in advance and I'm sorry if I'm so curious...

Hi Pilou!

...I really love Magica Voxel!

It's a piece of cake into the almost boring and repetitive world of CG :)

Hi Pilou.

I ask to you because you're the "SimLab" expert :)

With the "Lite" version how I can export the rendered image to 1920x1080 png without background ?

And when I click "Render to File" Simlab ask me to activate a trial license.

As you can see in this image the image resolution is not 1920x1080 and if I press the "Camera" button at bottom right the image is save with the background,
but I would like to save it without background.

Thanks for help.

Hi Marco,

Simlab looks interesting. Does anyone know how it compares to Keyshot, in ease of use and rendering realism?

Simlab Composer Light - Lite (free)
menu Render / Exit Parameter any size till 1920 * 1080
menu Render / Environnement parameters = you choose any backgrounds !)

And you can of course change all parameter if you want more advance things! :)

Ok Pilou.

But...I'm sorry...maybe I didn't understand.

What I need is to know how to, with the "Lite" version, export the rendered image to 1920x1080 png without any background (or transparent background).

Thanks.

Just look attentively my image above! ;)

If you explore the Menu Background you have to choose a unic color !

So ;) Sorry it's French version but...

And for have your 1920 * 1080 you must pass by the Render Menu!
in fact I believe you can have any size that gives 2 073 600 maxi (pixel) = 1920 *1080 !

If you take the "Default background" of my first image above you will obtain a pure white Background!
white
And if you start with an empty scene you will have only object imported rendered + white background! = easy for clipping! ;)
So

PS Of course at the end after all Render parameters / Environnement, Advanced, Exit

Menu Render / To File (F5) :)

For compare versions!

I love it's simplicity! No headaches! And the free price for the hobbyists :)
