SketchUp on the iPad. This sounds pretty interesting to me.
I have tried several 3D programs on the iPad. Shape3D and Umake
for example, but both were too clunky for me.
And Shape3D tooooo.... expensive.
Currently I have Nomad 3D installed on my iPad and am very happy
with it. Nomad 3D is actually known as a Sculpting app. But it can do
quite a bit more. As this short video shows.
It is from Ilya Tulyakov, in this video he switched between
Nomad 3D and Procreate. He use Procreate to sketch some
parts bevor modeling.
A few posts back in this thread, I posted a scooter I modeled with it.
SouthernGFX is a very good Source for Tutorials an Nomad 3D.
Here these "interactive widgets" are one of the many features
I really like about Nomad 3D. Here is a video about it.
A free on line (25 projects) : https://www.vectary.com ( Polygonal prog very complete)
Accepts import IGES from Moi! ;) and of course all polys not nurbs formats !
here for see if the exportation with texture was possible :)
In fact seems a killer one in easy free Poly Modeling! :)
You have all under hands!! (Modeling, Texturing, rendering, Augmented Reality, etc...)
With a not so difficult interface! :)
And arborescence tree Objects!
Here a simple cube Booleaned with a Cylinder then Twisted and textured with a pop one :)
on a simple plane with a funny texture! All takes 10 seconds!
The embed code of Vectary works like a charm on my website https://moiscript.weebly.com/vectary.html
or directly here! :)
Of course a Moi object! ;)
If you have a tablette or a smartphone if you click AR you will have your object in reality augmented on any surface shown by your camera! ;)
Sorry for my previous post!
Alas with the free version i am the only one who can see the true good result!
I was not advised of that!
