Another cool one Phil, and the Octane render looks fabulous!

That is quite a collection you've got at this point, are you getting close to having all the pieces you need yet?

We have all four miniatures for two factions, the Galacteers (good guys) and the Zenethians (saucer people). We have the first two classes for the last two factions: the Imperials (bad guys) and the Valkeeri (demon women.)

Four more ships to go!

Those SciFi magazine covers always brings tears to my eyes cause back in the 30's - 50's they had such hope for what would be possible and taking place in the '90s and 2000's...

Frankly the space industry should be where they envisioned; mining asteroids, colonies on the Moon and perhaps Mars etc.

We squandered away so many decades doing nothing except perhaps warring amongst ourselves, what a shame.

I love the art design from that era; the finned spaceships, the "ray guns" that were always in hand, the screaming and running women were always expected (if they weren't being carried off by some ugly aliens :-P )

The machinery always looked big and bulky like they still used tubes instead of solid state circuitry, but tubes or not, they still look advanced even by today's standards.

Ever since I purchased MoI I been using those magazine covers as practice for modeling spaceships and structures. I'd love to be able to develop a illustration style creating similar images using say ZBrush and MoI etc.

If I didn't know better WillBellJr I would think that you were reading my mind!

We have wasted a lot of time on so many fronts....

Great work as always Philbo.

Great model Phil. Nice use of MoI colours too.

Will, David,

My wife and I were talking about that very subject last night! I can't believe we are here in 2010 and none of that stuff has happened.

Just in case anyone wanted to see, I received the castings of the latest two War Rocket figures. Moi3D is awesome.

This one is just about 1 inch long

This one is about two inches.
