Hi Dave,

What is the goal of your project ?

erm the goal is the same as the antbot and waspbot i made before, get them modeled and see what happens :). i have a collection of bugs in glass so im slowly working my way through them and maybe one day there will be a huge scene with them all in. there really isnt a BIG goal with them i just like modeling robotic insects :)

I think your model will be suit for game character and film animation character.

Sure would not want to find these guys crawling up my wall!

The whole guy is coming together nicely.

This will be cool. Cant wait to see it in the garage with the rest, silently sleeping before the big attack!

You might want to review the feet. In the render, to me something doesnt quite look right? Almost like tennis shoes. (But I may not be seeing the whole picture) Just not insecty enough. Friendly like.

Anyway, Very nice!

Looking good Dave. You definitely do not suffer from arachnophobia! :)

Hmmm, well you certainly picked an interesting project for someone with arachnophobia! :)

Your updated arrangement of legs (8 now instead of 10?) looks better I think.

:) @ the shoes :)
michael well the 2 legs at the front were 2 mouth parts that look like the other legs some males have really leg like mouth parts but yes i decided to remove them and now it has no mouth parts, so this version is not spider accurate, but looks better. yes it almost looks toy like. i am doing another render of it in a moment so stay tuned :)
