Hi There
I would suggest this be added to the flow.js before the factory.commit();
This enables flow with history which is a gamechanger if you use flow a lot . ( I have this from ver 4 )
factory.getCreatedObjects().setProperty( 'updateWithHistory', true );
factory.commit();
cheers

Hi,
I just tested it. This addition does indeed seem useful if you use Flow a lot.
What do you think, Michael?...

Hi,
Just out of curiosity what does/would your addition do?
factory.getCreatedObjects().setProperty( 'updateWithHistory', true );
Thanks.

Hi Zooen,

There needs to be a setting for which commands to have history updating turned on by default. In the meantime if you want Flow to have history updates turned on by default you can make that happen now with what shayne shows above.

Hi Frederick,
re:

It turns on history updates for the output objects. The same as selecting the result objects and clicking Edit > History > "Enable update".
When history updating is turned on with Flow you can edit the base or target curves that were used by Flow and the Flow will be automatically reapplied.

Hi Michael,
Another wish.
Would it be possible, when exporting for example, to preset the file name to use the object name.
I know the issue of multiple object names would need to be dealt with in some way, perhaps by using the name of the first object selected?
Thanks.
Frederick

In response to Michael's comment, and in the meantime.

The help section states: “Some commands have history updates enabled by default. For example...” So an example is given, but we don’t know which commands have history updates enabled by default. Then, further on, it says: “Other commands have their history disabled by default, such as...” It seems like more examples are given, but we don’t know which commands have history updates disabled by default.
I’ve done some research, but I haven’t found any information.
If anyone has a list, I’d love to see it.
There’s a French saying I quite like: “Stay curious” 'Restez-curieux"
Plus, a little distraction to help you stay calm and relaxed. You can’t really tell, but there are 235 solids.

Hi Zooen, currently commands with history update on by default are:
Blend, BooleanIntersection, Project, Extrude, Loft, Network, PlanarSrf, Revolve, RailRevolve, Sweep, and Mirror.
At some point I expect for this to change with none on by default but with an option where you can list the commands that you want it on.

About the Flow function + History
You can add Points on the start base surface before Flow !
Copy move this Start Base. (with pts)
Make the Flow of the Object.
Select the Object result of the Flow / History (if not use of the history plugin above)
Move the points of the target surface.
So you can move any point(s) of the target surface at any time! (if not other modify)

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your reply.
It would indeed be a good idea if this feature were no longer enabled by default, but there were an option to list the commands for which you wish to enable it.
