Hi Zooen, im interested in reading some of your own sections that you mentioned as im self taught in #cad#
whereas i bet you also have new angles and approaches on things as well.
I think a future learning resource would be a few (new) videos by the experts, on the (new) features
of V5. I know i know there is stuff on youtube, but its pretty dispersive, and sometimes I do not believe
all being taught is "the way" or "the only way"...maybe we need an index here somewhere...
should have the MOI3D pros vote them first maybe. Thats me excluded then ;o)
I particularly liked this guy cadence and approach, wish he'd have done a few more:
MoI Help Videos Playlist
The fault of many of the videos is people showing you howto use a tool or how fast they are
but not showing what tool is used, or "pressed"...

Hello everyone,
I made a mistake when I posted my help document on the forum. First, it is intended solely for French speakers, and second, it contains terms that differ from those in the French MoI3D help.
I have used and taught AutoCAD and Revit (SketchUp for sketches) for many years in the fields of architecture and construction. I am therefore very attached to certain French terms that we use and that are common to many software programs in these two fields.
I have therefore rewritten and compiled the introduction to Moment of Inspiration, the command reference, etc., into a single document. I also renamed the MoI3D tools in the FrenchStrings.txt file and translated the comments. I also created a document titled “Tips and Tricks” that compiles the advice posted on the English forum.
The icon at the bottom right of the MoI interface isn’t really useful to me.
I saved my document in .htm format to link to it from the help icon. It works, but I lose the images. I haven’t found a solution to this problem yet, but I’m not giving up.

Hi Zooen, if you want to repeat the same process to generate the command reference help file document, there is stuff for that here:

Re: instructions_for_translators.zip
Addendum for the command reference build process - it looks like web browsers no longer allow XML files with an XSL style sheet to load from a local file.
This can be enabled in the msedge browser by going to
edge://settings/defaultBrowser, set
"Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode)" to Allow, and click Add a page, and put in the
file:// URL for moi_command_reference.xml

Hi Matadem,
I created a forum post in 2023 titled “Tutorials for Beginners.” I just updated it by adding two examples. I think it can be very helpful for people who are just starting out with MoI3D.
If I had one piece of advice for a beginner, it would be to read the MoI help section carefully and learn how to use all the tools. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s a step you shouldn’t skip. Plus, it’s like tennis (a nod to Roland Garros)—you have to practice, and practice regularly.
All tutorials are free on the TITAN website!

Thanks for the info, Michael!

Might be worth a look, uses direct playlist filter search on youtube:
MoI3D Playlists on YouTube
@Tom Meeks
Your playlist didn’t appear particularly high in the results. It might be worth getting “MoI3D” closer to the start of the playlist title, something like:
"MoI3D Tutorials - Design for Life”
or similar.
Design for Life - MoI3D Playlist by Tom Meeks
The tutorial matedem mentioned also looks interesting. It’s around 7 hours long, has 1000+ sales and a 97% rating on Gumroad:
