Hi Steve,
Did you also check "Show trailing zeros" beside the Decimal Display settings in Options ?
Note that, if something is already selected when you make the change, you have to deselect it then reselect it to see the changes.

Same result when I check "show trailing zeros". Add a new dimension and the dimension arrow has a two decimal value, I'm set to three decimals.
When I select it, the value displayed in the upper right has three decimals; clicking that value shows four decimals.

You can set the Dimensions decimals display in Options, Dimensions.
Is this what you are looking for ?

Thank you. I've been using Options -> General -> Decimal display, which does not affect dimensions.
Now I see how to do it.

Also note :
Changes in Options are not "retroactive" and will not apply to already set Dimensions and this is ok but if you have already set several Dimensions and also want them to be changed and don't want to redo everything to make that change, use Browser, Types, Annotations to select only the Dimensions then click on Details and change all Dimensions at once.

Hi sos,
re:

That one under Options > General > Decimal display controls the program UI, like the radius field in the circle command for example.
Dimensions have their own settings separate from that. You can control the default properties that are applied to a newly drawn dimension by editing the preset properties under Options > Dimensions.
If you want to change the display properties on an already existing dimension that's done by selecting it and using the "Details..." dialog.
