Hi, I just downloaded the trial and started to play around with the program on a Microsoft surface tablet with a pen. So far it works quite nice.
As I am right handed, is there an option in MoI to change so that the notification for the different snaps is to the top left of cursor? Currently my hand would block the text that show up like “Origin or cen“ when I draw a circle for example.
I tried adjusting all the windows options that I think affects it but no such luck yet.
Also, Is there a good free resource for drawing mechanical type parts? I have the manual and started looking at the courses by Tom Meeks on YouTube. Curious what my next steps would be to help with learning the program for more mechanical parts such as those in the Solidworks model mania parts.

Hi TabUser,
re:

There's a setting for it but there isn't a control for it in the UI.
To modify it, go to Options > General > "Edit .ini file" button and inside moi.ini find this:
ShowObjectSnapLabelToLeft=n
and switch it to be =y like this:
ShowObjectSnapLabelToLeft=y

Do you mean you want some example finished part models? Or something more like tutorial videos?

Thanks for quick reply Michael. I adjust that setting and it works with the labels to the left.
Yes, I was hoping to find more video tutorials on how to create mechanical parts from scratch.
