Looking to make a random pattern with different size....something like the 95 Acer aspire pc.
They had a random pattern of holes at the case and monitor

But the result you show in the Acer picture doesn't look like it's just randomizing position, it's randomizing position while at the same time not letting the shapes to intersect with each other.
That's a fairly different and more complex process than just randomization alone.
