Oh gosh that's mad - I thought the documentation had disappeared! Thanks for that, I had been using your little wireframe exe...This should clear me up pretty much!
It's a bit of a mixed bag really, there's a lot of Rhino usage in film Art Depts and Props and as time goes on and GPUs get better and better so the mesh content included in the 3dm's goes up (think it might be a Blender thing, a lot of concept is done there now, and drafties will usually build around these meshes to 'cad' them). Sometimes I'd just really like to nab some meshes in one go out of a Rhino file and not split everything up, Other times I'll be exporting between Z and MoI to maintain scale or rebuild some elements in cad in order to pass on...In the end it's mostly to have the mesh as a reference, I'll bring it in and lock it usually. I think like most people on here we just really don't want to have to use Rhino but there's always a slight pressure to as it seems to deal with meshes in an okay manner of recent times.
Again, massive respect for your overall methodology for keeping it simple so I'm not complaining!
