I have to admit I watched several videos about Plasticity new CAD tool.I tried it,but I like more simplified CAD software Moi3D interface even it lacks more advanced tools :)
I tried also to learn Alias Auto tools I could not get used to their interface too, even they have great tools for automotive design particularly. When building surfaces with Moi3d I have to think more, but eventually I find solutions.I learned a lot from Youtube tutorials, but I also learn from Rhinoceros3d tutorials too.I had the problems to make my models solid to connect them without showing me joined surfaces which is not good for 3d printing. If I make longer distance between forms I use blend tool then join and it finishes the job. With narrow distances it is a gamble with loft or with blend tool.
Anyway I will share with you my latest works mostly aircrafts which you can 3d print it if you like.First one is free for downloading and using and it it is very popular as my version of Xwing spaceship on my 3d store.Yess I dont have 3d printer,so I import 3d models to blender3d and create realistic renderings with cycles render.Check it out on link below :)
