The Space Traveler should be working with MoI since the last few beta releases, but you may need an updated driver for the device.

Try getting the newest driver from here: http://www.3dconnexion.com/support/4a1.php , and then try with the latest Aug-1 beta release. Please let me know if that still doesn't work.
