By the way, the fix to sweep was to allow the starting point of the rail to be specified when doing sweep using more than one profile.

So for example sweeping these circles along this rail:



If you select the rail with a click near the bottom end, you will get a sweep like this:



If you select the rail with a click near the top end, you will get a sweep like this:



Before there wasn't a way to control this particular thing, you would have to re-order your profiles instead.
