As a beginner I am attempting my first complex project, a riverine monitor of the first world war.

This past weekend I loaded up a trial version of SimLab Composer and have been experimenting with this and other models.

The SC has helped in pointing out errors not easily seen in MOI.

Two unusual issues are that the forward and one of the aft anchors seem to be "filling" in as a chord across the arc something that only shows in SC but not MOI.

Also the rudder which is a simple extruded solid shape in MOI is extremely distorted in SC.
