I requested another file format from my client and they sent me an igs and a step file. but I can't open either of them. when opening, moi sort of freezes, I can't activate any command, and sometimes the arrow cursor disappears on 3 of the 4 editor windows. when looking in the activity monitor, the wine process is around 100 % all the time, all the rest between 0 and 2. I waited about 45 minutes, then had to force quit moi. the files are 357 and 424 Mb big, could that be the problem?

I have opened many igs and step files before, I know it takes long and the behaviour above is "normal", but here I am stuck.

would it eventually open if I waited long enough?

I hope in V4 there is a better activity indication when opening files.
