World axes hidden by objects

Hi there,

In MoI the world axes in the viewports are always "behind" objects or just hidden when geometry is drawn. This is a little bit inconvenient in my opinion. I would like to see them when they are theoretically in front of geometry, like in this picture. The camera shows the bottom of the cylinder, the cylinder is placed at 0,0,0. So normally you would see the world axes here. So, is there a option to change this behavior? If not, I would *love* to see in v4.

Moreover, is there a possibility to show color axes instead of the gray ones?
