This is one sweet find. Consider this speaker detail I created for project I'm working on:



Recipe:

1. Create an ellipse in Pshop
2. Gaussian Blur it a lot!
3. Export as PNG
4. Import into StippleGen 2
5. Crank way down the number of instances
6. Let it resolve
7. Export as SVG
8. Open in Illustrator and crop out any curves you don't like
9. Copy curves in Illustrator
10. Paste into MoI 3D and name them
11. Use them to cut holes in surface
12. Voilà
