bleeding mesh edges and exporting UV's

Hi Michael. I'm sure it's too late for 1.0, but maybe some things to consider for a service release. Both are related to exporting mesh objects:

1. Bleeding mesh edges (as shown in this picture) - When meshing a polysurface, the backface edges can show through the adjacent face if at an acute angle to each other. During export, would it be possible to have a temporary adjustment for the Zbias? Maybe just a slider adjustment? And Moi goes back to previous setting when export is completed?

2. UV textures - Is it possible to retain the surface UV's when exporting? And if using the "weld edges" option, could those UV's be nested into one UV space?
