Hi toggi, I have not heard of this particular problem before. I would guess that since it's user specific that it could be something bad in your user home directory.

Can you take a look at ~/Library/Saved Application State   and see if there are a whole lot of wineskin files or folders in there named like 8582838535.wineskin.prefs.savedState ?

Have you by any chance set any unusual file permissions on anything in your home directory?

I really don't know how you'd only get part of a file read in though, that's very strange behavior. About the only thing I can think that would cause that would be if your disk is failing intermittently...
