Hi arekm, re: get rid of those edges

This edge here is the "seam edge" of the original cylinder, it's not really an error that you have to get rid of, you can just ignore it:

If you really really want to get rid of it for some reason, you would need to rebuild those faces using a non-segmented curve as the source for the construction. The easiest way to do that would be to delete those faces, then select the 2 top edges here:

And then merge those together into a single edge using the "Merge" command: http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_command_reference10.htm#merge . After that there will be one single edge there and you can then extrude that down to make a new single surface in that area. But it's not necessary to do this, it's easiest to just not worry about that particular edge. Anytime you have a closed surface like a cylinder, there is an edge at the "seam" of the cylinder where the start of the surface touches the end edge of the surface. Each surface in MoI is kind of like a sheet of rubber paper a closed surface is made by rolling up the sheet of paper so opposite sides touch each other, that's the "seam edge" there. It's not an error really, it's just how closed surfaces work. Sometimes if it's causing problems you can try to rotate your closed surface so the seam edge is not right in the particular working area.

The other one you are asking about seems to be a kind of slivery hole that got cut in the bottom of the piece:

That can be removed by doing an "untrim" which is described here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=444.4

Zoom in a bit near the middle of those edges looking from the underneath of your object, then select the 4 edges that make it up, then push Delete and that trimming boundary will be removed.

You maybe had cut there twice with 2 very slightly different cutting curves or something like that leaving a kind of thin slivery hole there.
