So the stack of Mandelbulb images is converted by FIJI to a "large" .obj file.
The video shows MeshLab reducing the file size and exporting to .obj file.

The (Moi) script ImportObj, by Max Smirnov, can import .obj files.
(The (Moi) Windows utility Obj23dm can convert .obj to .3dm) (In Windows).

File size may be a concern. (?)
