Hi Michael T - sorry no there's currently no way set up to alter those header fields for the STEP file. Whatever gets set there currently is just what the file export library does by default. I think that's a normal practice for STEP export for the full file name to be put in that spot, at least one other CAD program that I just tested does the same thing.
