Moi STLs contain self-intersecting edges ( Teeny bug report )

Ok, I'm still not grokking some things then. It seems some literature refers to self-intersecting edges, and others to meshes. Edges would have to self intersect for some cases in order for the right hand rule for normals to always work. Anyway, it seems the meshs aren't clean, but I don't know 'how'.
