Yeah I've looked into it and it's pretty interesting but it does not cover the requirement that I mentioned above to be able to have a topics list that stays visible on the left side while having the thread contents displayed to the right of it. That's what I consider a fundamental needed feature.

Or do you know if it's possible to configure that way? None of the links that you posted show that though.
