Hi Juan, you can use Firefox as your Internet browser, that's completely fine (and I actually recommend that). But MoI internally uses the IE engine to display it's UI - it is not possible to switch MoI to use Firefox internally because Firefox does not provide the same kinds of extensions as IE.
Hmmm, normally pushing the Reset button in IE7 fixes that problem, but for you it had no effect? You can also reach that dialog by going to Start / Control Panel / Internet Options if you don't want to start IE.
You might also try this procedure - go to Start / Run in Windows, and type in cmd.exe . This should bring up a command prompt.
Type in these commands:
regsvr32 msscript.ocx [enter]
regsvr32 dispex.dll [enter]
regsvr32 vbscript.dll [enter]
regsvr32 jscript.dll [enter]
This may repair your registry to help things work again, that has helped one person before.
If that doesn't work, the other possibility is to go to Start / Control Panel / Add or Remove programs, and uninstall IE7 - this will restore IE6 and this has solved one other user's problem when they ran into this.
