As a test for a project I'm working on, I've projected a curve onto a single planar surface, highlighted the projected curve and then turned on history update.

It doesn't work in V3 or has that functionality never been there ?

It works fine when you create a curve from two intersecting surfaces and enable history update on the curve. When you modify the curve of one of the surfaces, it updates in that instance.
