I must be slipping, I've had Moi for some time now and its been a life saver over and over again. Its obviously fantastic as a stand alone 3d program, but I also use it in conjunction with Solidedge when I need to do some complex surfacing. But I have completely missed the fact that I can use it for technical illustrations. I will be making use of this. The program just keeps giving. Thanks Michael.


The image is of a small agricultural machine. Built in Solidedge, full assembly model exported as a 5MB STEP file which opened in MOI quite quickly. Saved it as a AI file but for some reason Inkscape would not open it, so I saved it as a PDF and then opened it in PS. Fantastic.
