I don't know if anyone here is interested or as been following the development but for this years Google summer of code 2014 Jonathan deWard is improving Blender's built in NURBS handling and opening of 3dm files. Since this is a NURBS modeling community and MoI does use 3dm as native file format I thought this could be of interest to people here, as this could mean improved interoperability and a better companion application for MoI to produce renders with.
