Ivan Sentch in Auckland, New Zealand is building a "plug" from a sliced 3D model and a 3D printer. The plug is a full size form from which a fiberglass car body is made. His 3D printer has a 6" x 6" x 6" capacity, so the plug is printed in smaller pieces and assembled like a puzzle.
I find it interesting how 3D modeling and 3D printing is driving creativity.
