Thanks, that was actually very helpful. I appreciate the time you took to make it, I might give CamBam another try. I was planning to cut these parts out of maple.

It appears that CamBam gives you a lot more choices than other CAM packages out there. However, one of the problems I've been having is the round edges on the top of my parts. They were easy to make in MoI, but have proven difficult for a beginner to machine. Your tutorial exports the shapes as 2D drawings, which is something I've never done before, but seems to simplify cutting 2D parts. Only in this case, I'm trying to cut 2.5D parts for at least one of the two pieces. So I'd have to modify things somewhat to round those edges.
