If you want to post an example of something you'd like to make, then I'll try to do a short video of how to set it up in CamBam.

I'll concede that CamBam isn't as pretty on the eye as Cut2d, but it is much more powerful and is very straightforward to use in my opinion - you'll also be able to machine solids too, via stl between MoI and CamBam.
