Hi Larry, yes it's just as Burr says - the main incentive is that you can be productive with MoI now rather than waiting.

I mean you could apply your same reasoning to say that you have no incentive to purchase now instead of waiting until V9 because you don't want to ever upgrade...

Or are you maybe telling me that I should instead charge more for V3 instead of keeping the price the same as V2? That would probably be the easiest solution to not "waste" any upgrade cost I suppose, right? That is actually what happened from V1 to V2 and yes that did make for a nice and neat upgrade transition (with V1 + v2 upgrade = V2 full price), but I don't think it's sustainable in the long term to increase the base price on every single new release is it?
