I do a fair amount of work which involves reverse engineering components that were made in the early to mid 1900s and are therefore manufactured in inch units.
As I live in the (metric) UK, I'd find it quite useful to have the option to select which units of measurement are displayed whilst an item is selected. I'm thinking of something along the lines of the Radius/Diameter widget that's available when we need to edit the size of a circle etc.
I'm aware of the mixed unit data entry facility in MoI, which is a great feature, but if you need to recheck a measurement, it's displayed in the current default units (metric for me) and so needs to be converted back to imperial.

I'm a new user of MoI and enjoying the program very much.
