There is nothing specially set up in MoI for that - but which operating system are you using?

In Windows for example Windows itself remembers the last directory used in the file open dialog, and will start out in that same directory the next time that you use the file dialog.

Is it that you actually want to override the default system behavior and make a fixed directory to be the one used for "Open" rather than the last used one?

Or is the problem that you're getting some other behavior than seeing the last used one?
