When pressing Alt key to temporarily turn off snapping, it could be turning off also curve closing.

Please explain which snaps should be disabled by Alt, and which should not. (?)
Seems like I misunderstood the question. The closed snap is still working with Alt pressed.
I'll have to read up on Alt.
