I tried a model on my home PC.

I have a Pentium 4 (2 core), 1 g. ram
NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE


I see one core taking the brunt in the older version, and two cores working just as hard in the new one.

MoI's timing with this particular model:

116 ms and 100 ms. %14 (?)
