Hi mjs - it certainly looks to me like the Right-side view, the one looking straight at the headlights, is some kind of perspective drawing.

Check out how much of an angle there is from the headlights back to the windshield, the red line here:



And compare that to the same thing in the top view:




Those images just do not match at all - it sure looks to me like the Right-side one looking at the headlights is some kind of perspective sketch.
