Hi Nos & Burr - this works (or is supposed to work) like Burr describes where the first curve that you select will take precedence for properties and the joined curve will get the name of that curve that was first selected for the Join.

However, there is a bug for lines and arcs where lines and arcs get a special analytic curve segment constructed for them and that has a side effect of losing the properties. So if the first selected curve was a line or an arc then it does not work properly.

I've got that bug fixed up so that lines and arc names will behave properly with Join in the next v3 beta.
