3D DXF file to Rhino 3DM Nurbs surface

Hi John, well Rhino has a DXF importer, so you would normally just load the DXF file into Rhino.

But DXF files can contain a variety of different types of data in them though, like just wireframe lines and arcs, or sometimes it may contain model data in a faceted polygon mesh format, or it can also contain NURBS surfaces and solids.

So what you would do to the file can depend on what particular kind of data you've got in your DXF file.

Do you know what kind of data is in your particular file?

What happens when you try to load it into Rhino?

Also since your question is specific to Rhino you might want to ask it on the Rhino newsgroup rather than over here - this forum is for a different software package called MoI. The Rhino newsgroup is here: http://www.rhino3d.com/support.htm
