Hi Danny, that could probably work. The way I was thinking of previously was more like how the Windows tree view control works like in File Explorer, where the tooltip comes up right in place of the existing name like this:




But the way that you're showing could work better since it won't get in the way of the scene browser controls.

Just in general though I dislike tooltips and have tried to avoid them when possible - they're often used as a kind of crutch for cryptic UI, and it's better to have the UI more self explanatory. But a case like this where it is showing an expanded name that is not really quite the same thing - it just takes me a while to get over my built in dislike of tooltips before adding any more in.
