Hi,
I would like to purchase a David laserscanner (http://www.david-laserscanner.com/) and work in MoI with the 3d data. But the software of the scanner only makes .obj, .stl or .ply files.

I already tried the Obj23dmWireframe with some testdata from david (http://www.david-laserscanner.com/?section=Downloads&file=david_angel2) but it did not work.

Is there any chance to work with the data in MoI?

I also read the thread ".stl or .max file into MoI ?" but it did not help me much, but gave me the feeling that it is not possible...

Maybe the other way round: is there any affordable 3d scanner which produces data I can work with in MoI?
