At my old job, we had quite a few discussions about this very topic, and I've thought a lot about it - weighing the various pros and cons of each workflow. I've come to the conclusion there really isn't a perfect method. Whatever gets the job done and makes the boss happy is the right way to do something. I definitely appreciated Etcher's work.
