History and symmetry

Hi Pilou, sorry I don't quite understand - if you wanted to have symmetry why are you disabling the history update in one of the steps?

If you want to keep the history update working, then don't disable the history update. Once you have disabled it and edited a curve without history updating on, that will then break the history chain and you won't be able to get it back with those particular curves.

But you could delete one curve and remake the other one by doing a new Mirror operation to get it set back up again if that's what you wanted.

The part that breaks the history is doing an edit with history disabled - just turning history updates on or off does not by itself do anything to the actual history itself, it just sets a flag on an object for what to do with that object when an history update is possible to apply on to it due to some editing. The difference from your C & D case from the other one (if I understand correctly) is that in the other one you also did an edit while the history update was disabled...
