Hi FiL, so sorry I kind of missed the part of your message where you mentioned that MoI works if you close it and open it again. So if that's the case the various system configuration stuff above is probably not the problem.

It could be a video driver problem though, so probably your best bet would be to update your video driver to its latest version - go directly to the video card manufacturer's web site to get the latest drivers.
